Live for Something Legacy: Generation One: Week 5

Welcome back to the Live for Something Legacy challenge. First of all I want to thank everyone on Boolprop.net that voted this challenge Best Legacy with a New Twist. I am so honored that everyone has enjoyed this challenge enough to make it a winner.

Last time Dia gave birth to daughter Elara. We made it through Elara's infant stage and she became a toddler. Dia met Darius at a club and had a one night stand which resulted in her second pregnancy. Darius also turned out to be an alien. Dia's best friend and neighbor Jasminder found out her husband Arun had been cheating on her with Penny Pizzazz but they reconciled and Jasminder is also pregnant.

Monday Afternoon

It is 5:30 pm when we arrive in San Myshuno. Dia is on the computer while Laika watches her.

Apparently at some point Dia completed the snow globe collection. I am not sure when that happened but this mean Dia has finished two collections as she already completed the City Poster collection in the last update.

Dia made some grilled cheese for both herself and Elara.

Both Dia and Elara were tired so they turned in early.

Tuesday

It turns out Laika is pregnant. I had been trying to have her mate with Digger from the Get Collecting Legacy but never had confirmation that she was expecting. I checked MCC and Digger is the father of the puppies.

There is a male puppy (brown) named Astro and a female puppy (black and white) named Aurora.

Dia just loves the puppies.

Dia made breakfast for both herself and Elara.

GeekCon was in the city and Jasminder invited Dia to join her for the day. So we sent Elara to daycare and headed out to the festival.

Dia competed in the Hackathon and Ultimate Gaming Tournament.

Then she competed in a Karaoke contest but didn't win.

I realized Dia still hadn't told Darius about the pregnancy so she invited him over. He was not happy about the news which made Dia sad.

Later that evening we got an alert that Penny Pizzazz had given birth to twins. A girl named Lynn and a boy named Jayden.

At this point it was getting late, so Dia put Elara to bed.

Wednesday

Poor Dia woke up on Wednesday morning and had a bladder failure.

Dia spent the morning playing with the dogs.

Having dogs in apartments is challenging so I downloaded the Ultimutt Indoor Potty Pads by Ravesheen. Dia is able to train the puppies to go potty on the mats.

Dia then worked on her Master Mixologist aspiration by mixing drinks at the bar. She is on level 2 of 4 in the aspiration and just needs to mix three drinks at a social event.

Elara played with her blocks, spent time with the dogs, and read her toddler books.

On Wednesday afternoon Dia went into labor. She called Darius and then went to the hospital.

Darius arrived at the hospital in full panic mode and then left.

Poor Dia was in the delivery room all alone, clearly in pain and feeling miserable when her phone rang.

WHAT!!! Why is Darius calling Dia while she is in labor when he is supposed to be at the hospital.

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! Darius called Dia, while she is in labor with his baby, to enquire if he should ask out Angela Crumplebottom. WHAT!!!!

Dia told him to go for it as she is totally done with him.

Dia gave birth to twin boys named Eros (astroid) and Eris (dwarf planet). I am really happy it was twin boys because that means we will get to have an heir poll.

Elara was super excited about becoming a big sister and just adores her brothers.

Jasminder also gave birth to a baby boy she and Arun named Hudson.

Everyone was feeling tired, so Dia read Elara a bedtime story and tucked her into bed.

Thursday

Thursday morning, Dia got up early and worked on her charisma skill by practicing her speech in front of the mirror.

Vulpecula is sick and threw up all over the floor. Dia cleaned up the mess.

And then took Vulpecula to the vet.

The vet examined Vulpecula and diagnosed him with Projectile Repugnitis.

Fortunately we were able to pay for the expensive treatment so Vulpecula doesn't need to wear the cone.

Dia still needs to complete the My Sim Trophy collection, so I sent her around to look for collectables.

Looks like Adam Equidea (DIFT challenge) also brought his dog Lupus to the vet. Lupus and Laika are siblings.

When Dia got home she and Elara danced to the stereo.

Dia taught Laika to stop playing in puddles.

She gave both dogs a bath as they were filthy dirty.

Dia put Elara to bed (not pictured) and then got the twins fed and changed.

Friday

On Friday morning Laika aged into an elder dog. I hate the dogs getting old.

Elara spent some time playing with the dogs. She is really close to all of them.

It is Elara's birthday, so Dia threw a big party. She invited all of her friends and a few of the other challenge families.

Dia helped Elara blow out her birthday candles.

Elara has the Whiz Kid aspiration and the recycle disciple trait.

Elara was thrilled that Jet Lexion from the Get Collecting challenge was at her party. Those to were super close as toddlers.

Elara opened her presents. I didn't bother writing down what she got as I plan to sell all of them for money.

During the party, Dia mixed three drinks which completed another level of her mixologist aspiration.

After the party, Elara got a start on her homework.

The puppies aged up into adult dogs.

Eros is a sunny infant. He has his dad's purple alien skin and his mom's blue hair. Here he is CAS in both his alien form and Sim disguise.

Eris is a wiggly infant. He has his mom's blue hair and skin tone. Here he is CAS in both his alien form and Sim disguise.

Friday came to an end with the announcement that Sophia Jordan had a baby boy named Adolfo with Juan Lopez. Juan is the the older brother of Teresa Lopez, wife of Cole Lexion in the Get Collecting Challenge.

Saturday

Dia came home from work at 1 am with a promotion to Chief Drink Operator. She got a bonus of $2,559 and can now write bar guides on the computer.

Dia went to sleep for a few hours and then got up to tend to the twins. She got them both fed and diapers changed.

We learned that Eros has the frequently sneezes quirk and Eris hates being held.

Dia and Elara played with the twins.

Both boys learned how to reach for things. Eros also learned how to lift his head and coo.

Elara went outside to play and met a couple of kids. The boy with the red hair is Perry Pleasant. He is the son of Lilith Pleasant and Dirk Dreamer. We met his older sister Anna in the last chapter of the Name Game Challenge when she went to high school with Lucas and the triplets. The blonde girl is Nikita Holiday. She is the daughter of Summer Holiday and Diego Lobo.

While the twins took their nap, Dia worked on her mixology skill.

Dia got a call that a long lost relative left her some money. Since Dia can't get married, per challenge rules, until she is an elder we went with "Under what conditions?"

Thanks to our response there were no conditions and we immediately received $2,500.

Jet Lexion called and invited Elara over to his house to play. I love these two together and immediately said okay.

Both kids have the Whiz Kid aspiration and spent time playing chess together.

Sunday

Dia came home from work at 12 am and checked on the twins. I think they returned from daycare and were laying on the floor.

After sleeping for a few hours, Dia was up feeding the twins and changing their diapers.

We learned that both Eris and Eros are self-soothers. Eros also hates wakeup time.

Dia took turns doing tummy time with both twins.

Elara woke up and spent time playing with the dogs.

She then entertained her brothers.

Eris learned how to coo while Eros can now laugh. Additionally, both boys learned how to grab and hold things.

While the boys napped, Dia read children's books to Elara for her Whiz Kid aspiration.

Then it was time for Dia to head to work. While at work, Dia needs to decide if she should import an expensive juice or keep it local. Dia decided to keep to local juices and the customers are fine with it. Dia's boss is happy she saved the bar from an unnecessary expense.
