Generation One: Week 3 & 4 - Spring

Welcome back to the Live for Something Legacy challenge.  When we left, Dia Constar just found out she was pregnant after she woohooed with fellow bartender Brian Andrews.  How will he take the news?  Let's find out!

Sunday

It is 4 am on Sunday morning when I returned to the Constar household in San Myshuno.  Dia is standing outside by the elevator in her party wear. 

While the dogs are just hanging out in the apartment.

I sent everyone to bed for a few hours.  Dia woke up and made herself some breakfast.

Unfortunately, she had such bad morning sickness she wasn't able to eat much.

Dia then spent some time playing with the dogs.  I don't want anyone running away.

Dia went out collecting posters and snow globes (not pictured) and then practiced her singing.  I think she is on level 4 in the skill.

I can't handle the sound of an alien singing so I panned around the neighborhood and followed the dogs around until it was time for Dia to head to work.

She earned a promotion and can select her career branch.  Per the rules for the generation Dia selected the Mixologist branch.

 She is now the Head Mixologist.  She earned a bonus of $691 and a Captain Rodrigo de Pablo Cask.

Monday

On Monday morning, Dia worked on her Charisma skill.  I think she needed to reach level 3 or something for her next promotion.

Jesminder was out getting the mail, so Dia went out for a chat.  Dia asked Jesminder if she wanted to feel the baby as it was kicking up a storm.

Dia then invited Jesminder over for a brunch of BLTs. 

Wait a second!!!!!!  Jesminder is at our house, so who is woohooing in the Bheeda apartment?

I couldn't resist switching briefly over to the Bheeda household.  I have no proof that he was woohooing with anyone but he does seem to have a full romance bar with Penny Pizzazz.  They also have a deeply connected sentiment.

Back at the Constar residents, Dia gave the dogs a bath.  Laika in particular loves to roll in puddles.

Then it was time to invite Brian over to finally tell him about the baby.

He did not take the news well and demanded a paternity test.

Dia went to get the test but before she could share the results with Brian it was time for her to go to work.

At work, Dia had to decide whether or not to give one of her regulars a bit more juice in his drink.  She decided to give him extra but soon everyone else was asking for extra too.  The customers loved Dia but I don't think her boss was too happy as it cost the bar money.

 She came home exhausted, without a promotion, and went straight to sleep.

Tuesday

Laika is back to playing in puddles.

Dia went outside and told her to stop doing that.  Apparently, Laika had also been eating her poop.  She learned to stop eating poop but still wants to roll in puddles.

Brian stopped by to learn the results of the paternity test.  Dia informed him that the test results proved that he is the father.  Brian did not take the news well as he had been hoping for a different outcome.

The baby was kicking, so Dia invited Brian to feel the baby.  He said no way.

This really upset Dia.  She yelled at Brian and told him to get out and never come back.

GeekCon was in town so Dia called a gathering of the The Achiever's club and went.

Dia needs to win a contest at GeekCon for her aspiration so she participated in the Hackathon and scored a 10%.  I didn't have high hopes on her winning the competition.

Meanwhile, Holly played her guitar for tips.

And poor Aspen had a bladder failure.

Then Dia participated in the Ultimate Gaming Test.

I can't believe it!  Dia actually won the Hackathon!! With a score of 10/100 - WOW!  She did not win the Ultimate Gaming Test as she only scored 18 points and needed at least a 70 to win.  That's okay, she still won the Hackathon and was able to mark another aspiration task complete.

 Then Dia did some Karaoke and sang duets with other members of the Achiever's club.

Wednesday

Early the next morning, Dia went into labor.  Dia went across the hall and asked Jesminder to take her to the hospital.

Dia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she named Elara.  For those of you that didn't read the original Constar legacy all of the children were named after things from space like stars, constellations, etc.  Elara is named after one of the moons of Jupiter.

Once they got home from the hospital, Dia fed Elara and put her in a cute onesie with a nebula on the front.

The dogs immediately became protective of Elara.  They love to sleep in front of her bassinet.

While Elara took a nap, Dia practiced singing.  It seems like it is taking forever to increase the skill.

Cole Lexion from the Get Collecting challenge called and invited Dia over to his house in Oasis Springs.  I decided to Accept, and Select Sims to Travel with.

Dia brought along all the members of the Achiever's club.

She introduced herself to Cole's wife Theresa.

She also met Cole's son Jet, daughter Amethyst, and dog Digger.

Cole's twins Opal and Onyx were hungry and in need of a diaper change.  Dia stepped in and helped tend to the twins while Holly from the Career legacy put Jet down for a nap. 

Dia also brought Laika along and she had fun playing with Digger.

I wonder if we have puppies on the way?

When Dia got home she spent time with Elara before turning in for the night.

Thursday

On Thursday morning, Dia got up and spent time playing with dogs.

Apparently I missed the notification about Elara's birthday and she aged up into an infant on her own.

I think Elara is adorable with Dia's turquoise skin and Brian's blonde hair.  Unfortunately, she has the intense trait.

Dia got Elara dressed and fed her a bottle.

Then she worked on upgrading the crib to add a mobile.

Jesminder stopped by to see Elara which unlocked the first visitor milestone.

We also learned that Elara is a gassy infant that hates wakeup time.

After Jesminder left, Dia changed Elara's diaper.

She played with her on the playmate.

Then they did some tummy time.  Elara was not happy about it and cried the entire time but she did unlock the lift head milestone.

 Dia put Elara down for a nap and then got ready to head to work.

Friday

 

 

Dia returned home from work at 1 am.  Unfortunately she did not earn a promotion.  Before going to bed she checked in on Elara.

 

After sleeping for a few hours Dia was up taking care of Elara.  Dia got her daughter fed and changed.

 

Then it was time for more tummy time.

Dia unlocked both the roll over to back and tummy milestones.  She can now do tummy time by herself.

The dogs were needing some attention so Dia took them for walks one at a time.

 

While Dia was gone the remaining dog stood guard over Elara. After walking both dogs it was time for Dia to go to work.  The days Dia goes to work seem to fly by so fast because she is gone for like 8 hours.

Saturday

Dia returned home from work without a promotion yet again.  She was hungry, so before going to bed she had some leftover eggs and toast.

And then she fed Elara and changed her diaper.  I wish the infants would come home from daycare with their needs better.

Dia slept for a few hours and then woke up to tend to her UFO plant.  It had some bugs that needed to be sprayed and weeds that needed to be pulled.

Dia got Elara up and changed her diaper.  While doing so Elara's final quirk was revealed. She is a free-air-tinkler.

Elara did some tummy time by herself and unlocked the creep milestone.

While Dia practiced her mixology skill.

Then Dia and Elara practiced sitting.  After a few failed attempts Elara learned how to sit up by herself.

Then it was time to try food in the highchair for the first time.  Elara did not like the crushed carrots.

And spit most of them out.

The dogs thought the food on the floor was the greatest thing ever.  They ate it and rolled in it.

Unfortunately, Dia didn't have time to give them a bath before leaving for work. 

Sunday

The first thing Dia did when she got home from work was give both dogs a bath.

She then fed Elara before going to bed for a few hours.

A few hours later, Elara woke up having had a blowout.  Dia gave her a bubble bath which unlocked two more infant milestones.

The flea market was in town.  I had hoped the vendor would be selling snow globes or MySim Trophies since Dia needs to complete both collections. 

 

 

Since she was selling Crystals I quickly switched over to the Get Collecting household and had Cole buy all of them.  Not only does he need to complete the crystal collection he also needs them for his job as a scientist.

I switched back to Dia and had her go around collecting snow globes and posters.  I thought it was cute that she was able to carry Elara on her back while she went collecting.  The infant backpacks seem to glitch for me a lot so I was pleased it worked this time.

Dia still needs one more snow globe but she did complete the City Posters Collection.

I am not sure what I want to do with them yet but so far they are all lined up on her living room wall.

Elara was getting really fussy, so Dia stopped her collecting to feed her and do a diaper change.

Dia then left for work and finally came home with a promotion.  She is now a Juice Boss and brought home a bonus of $1,907.

Monday

Elara had a very stinky diaper, so Dia got her changed.

For some reason, despite the diaper change, Elara still has a green stink cloud around her.  Dia fed her some more baby food but I didn't bother to take a screenshot of whether she liked it or not.

Since Elara still had a green stink cloud, Dia gave her a bubble bath.

Then Elara danced to some music while Dia worked on her mixology skill.

Elara learned how to babble while interacting with the dogs.

Dia and Elara practiced crawling.

Then it was time for more baby food.

Elara unlocked the pincer grasp and was able to try finger food for the first time.  It looks like she loved the peanut butter puffs.

 Before going to work, Dia spent some time playing with the dogs.

Tuesday

On Tuesday morning I got the notification that it was Elara's birthday.  I decided to plan a birthday party for a little later in the afternoon.

While we waited for party time, Dia spent time pampering Laika on the couch.  Unfortunately, she is not expecting puppies with Digger.

Dia then worked on her charisma skill.

Before starting on the birthday cake.

Dia invited the members of the Achiever's club to the party as well as several other friends and neighbors.  They cheered as Elara blew out her candles.  I didn't get a screenshot but it was also Dia's birthday.  She is now an Adult.

One of the neighbors Dia invited was Penny Pizzazz (red jacket).  It looks like she is pregnant. 

I was super curious about the father and had to check MCCC.  Well I guess this proves that Penny and Arun (Jasminder's husband) are having an affair because he is the father of her twins.  Poor Jesminder!

 

 

 Elara greeted Cole and Aspen.  I think the little toddler wave is so cute.

I jumped into CAS and gave Elara a quick makeover.  I think she is such a little cutie.

 

 

 Elara tortured entertained her guests with her singing.

Then she made drinks for everyone.

The guests seemed to have a great time visiting.

 

Elara was getting sleeping though so it was soon time to wrap up the party and go to bed.

Wednesday

Wednesday was lottery day so I quickly went around to several of the other families and bought them lottery tickets. 

Dia bought one as well.  I really hope one of my families wins.

Dia worked on her charisma skill.

While Elara spent time babbling to both her stuffed dog and real dogs.

Elara loves the dogs and they love her.

They follow her around and give her kisses.

Dia took a break from working on her charisma skill to start potty training Elara.

She also gave the dogs some attention.

And then read Elara a bedtime story.

Thursday

On Thursday morning we learned that Elara has a good appetite and is a little singer.  I hope she has a better voice then her mother.

The only things Dia has left of her City Living Aspiration is to max the singing skill and have an apartment worth $100,000.  It is taking FOREVER to max the singing skill!!  I think she is only at level 5.

I can't handle the sound of Dia singing.  Her alien voice only makes it worse.  So I went panning around the lot.  I spotted Arun and Penny having what looked like an intense conversation in the hallway.  I like to imagine she was telling him that her fathered her twins.

I was loving the drama so couldn't resist switching over to the Bheeda household for a second.  I had Arun confess his affair to Jesminder.  He told her that his relationship with Penny was over and that she had nothing to worry about.  

I was using the Lumpinou's Relationship & Pregnancy mod.  For some reason, Arun was able to confess to cheating but not to having a baby with someone else.  So apparently Jesminder knows about the affair but not about Penny's twins.

Jesminder was upset but decided to give Arun a second change. 

Dia invited her over to chat and have some drinks.

Dia is getting closer to maxing the mixology skill.

NO WAY!!!!! Hannah from the Difference in the Family Tree legacy won the lottery.  I can't believe one of my families actually won.  I think this only happened to me once before in my 100 baby challenge.

I want Elara to know some of the other toddlers, so I had Dia visit my SimSelf in Britechester.

Elara and Yvone are so cute together.

I also want Laika to have puppies, so before going home they stopped in Oasis Springs to visit Digger.

Someone called (I can't remember who) and invited Dia to the nightclub in Windenburg.  I figured why not she could use some adult time.

The neighborhood must have the free love NAP because I look over and find Dia making out with this guy.  I guess his name is Darius.

I decided to go with it because Dia does need to have a second child.  In the original Constar legacy the generations altered female, male, female, male and so on. I want to keep this attempt the same, so Dia really needs to have a boy.  Dia and Darius woohooed in the closet at the club and she learned that he is an alien.

Friday

It was getting later so Dia invited Darius home for some more woohoo in the shower.

It looks like she wasn't the only one having woohoo as there were hearts and loud noises coming out of the Bheeda apartment.

It looks like Jasminder and Arun are working on their relationship.

Vupecula has aged up into an elder dog.  I am not happy about it as I love him and don't like that he got older. 

Elara loves her toys and is quickly gaining her imagination skill.

Once Elara got bored with her toys she asked her mom to do flashcards.

Of course Dia needed to practice her singing.

She is only at level 6.  Elara seemed to enjoy watching her mom sing.  I admit Dia is starting to sound a little better.

Saturday

Dia woke up feeling nauseous and needed to throw up.

She took a pregnancy test.

And it was positive.  It looks like another baby is on the way.

It looks like Dia isn't the only one, as it appears that Jesminder and Arun are also expecting a baby.

Dia made pancakes for breakfast.

After eating, Elara played with her blocks.

While Dia worked on her mixology skill.  She is at level 7.

OMG! These dogs are killing me.  They are constantly rolling in trash.

Dia scolded them both.

And then gave them baths.

With that I have finished the two weeks of game play and sent everyone in the household to sleep for the night.  Up next we are headed to Oasis Springs and the Get Collecting challenge.
